Our Story

Where It All Began

Springfield Care Home was founded in 1992 by Mr Ghulam Qadir. His goal? To create thriving environments, where residents can live life to the full and receive expert care together. More than 25 years later, we have grown to a 70-strong team of care specialists.

Our care home, situated on the main bus route between Wigan and Chorley, is at the very heart of this objective. Springfield Care Home is designed with exceptional care in mind, combining practical features with elegant surroundings. From spacious, comfortable rooms and communal areas to assisted bathrooms and in-room call bells, we have created an environment where residents can relax and enjoy life.

From the very beginning, we’ve put a huge emphasis on training and development to provide the highest levels of care. We provide expert training when new employees start. This is complemented by continual development and training throughout their time with us, to keep our staff at the forefront of the care industry.

Our Testimonials

What People Say About Us

“I have always found the staff very good in whatever role they play, but all relate with residents and visitors with great respect and dignity. Another plus is the stimulus provided with activities, singing, carpet bowls, visitors bringing animals or birds, etc which fills the common area with residents who don’t normally come there, then the garden’s a great place to sit. Each resident is well cared for.”
